Elena lives every day like it’s summer. No, seriously. When it turns to winter in one place, she’s off to a warmer climate in a snap. But she always comes back for the real deal on the Middle Fork, which we are eternally grateful for.

The river doesn’t usually allow for distractions. But once parked, all bets are off. Elena treasures the memory she has of Topher, serenading guests with his plastic trombone while wearing a fashion-forward dress from the 70s.

IN HIS OTHER LIFE

Elena loves to guide – that’s why she does it all year long! But she did tell us in high school she was a cheerleader. We’re glad she traded in her cheer skirts for some quick-dry ones.
