Jed is an explorer at heart. He’s always on the lookout for new waterfalls, caves, or beaches on the Middle Fork, and loves to lead guests to hidden pictographs.

THIS ONE TIME

On his first trip guiding, Jed broke an oar minutes after launching. Instead of confessing to his crewmates, he spent the rest of the trip trying to row inconspicuously with half an oar. That’s commitment.

IN HIS OTHER LIFE

Jed also guides in a place 6,381 miles from the Middle Fork (hint: it’s literally on the other side of the world). He’s always had a love for aquatic life, which started as a child with a pet lobster named Lobby. For real.
