THIS ONE TIME

What is Scott’s favorite dessert? Humble pie. He developed a taste for it when he was a young river guide. He learned quickly that the river doesn’t care how confident you are – it is always up for teaching you a lesson, like how to watch out for rocks at the bottom of Aparajo Rapid.

IN HIS OTHER LIFE

When he’s not navigating the rapids of the Middle Fork, Scott is navigating the complex skeletal systems of his patients as an orthopaedic surgeon. He’s also an ambitious inventor, with his name on eight patents so far!
